About Sharon
I am a firm believer that people are drawn to things that they do well, hence my passion for sewing, My actual sewing exposure began at around age 10 and it became a life-long interest. Like most people, I began sewing clothing, but the craft seemed to create a self-perpetuating thirst for learning more. Over the 56 years since I began, I've migrated from clothing into fabricating home decor items and it is an area that I truly enjoy.
We relocated from Las Vegas to the Denver area in September of 2007. My husband (and best friend) and I absolutely love it here and hope we never have to leave ...we're home. When we first got here, I had the great fortune to job shadow a wonderfully talented person who has her own workroom on the west side. Judy Coughron of Judy's Draperies, shared techniques with me for which I will always be grateful. I would give up my best idea for a better one and Judy knows many "better ideas."
The classes I offer (private or group) is another area that I find very energizing and rejuvenating. My students seem to enjoy the classes as much as I do because they keep coming back for more. I believe I have planted the seed to cultivate a sewing passion in others as well as gained some new friends.
